Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the www.hefio.com website operated by Hefio Oy.

Your access to and use of the service herein is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access, register or purchase the products available in the website.

By accessing or using Hefio.com you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access Hefio.com.

Hefio may, at any time, change in whole or in part, the Terms and Conditions of service herein.

Accounts

Creating an account is the only way to purchase the Hefio headphones. When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

Orders, Products and Services

You can order Hefio products if you are in any European Countries (Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Vatican City), Israel, USA and Canada.

All items available in the online store have the price marked on in euros and include VAT at the legal rate in Finland, not including shipping costs.

Product prices may change at any time but will not affect orders that have already been made and are being dispatched.

Payment Methods

Hefio uses the PayPal, credit card via Checkout, and pay with invoice.

PayPal is a means of widespread online payment, which allows the use of various cards such as Visa, Mastercard or American Express, without having to disclose the code of the card, each time you make a purchase on the Internet. Creating an account allows you to make payments safely.

Credit card via Checkout allows you to pay with your credit card without having a PayPal account.

Pay with invoice will allow you to transfer the payment to Hefio’s bank account through Hefio’s IBAN, without having to create a Paypall account or owning a credit card. When leaving the checkout page, you will receive an email with Hefio’s data. When the payment is confirmed, the shipment will be made.

The order processing time depends on the payment confirmation time. Orders that are not paid within five days will be canceled.

Shipping

Hefio is an online store that delivers its products in all European Countries (Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Vatican City), Israel, USA and Canada.

The shipping boxes are packed in an appropriate and professional manner to ensure greater safety in transportation.

Deliveries will always be made to the indicated address in the customer account.

Hefio safeguards that some products may not be available in stock at the time of purchase. If this happens, the customer will be notified and give the choice between waiting (until more 15 days), replacement of the product for a similar or repayment of the missing item.

Shipping fees are calculated based on weight and destination of the order. When finalizing the process of ordering, the final shipping cost will be included in the shopping cart. In some situations the shipping fee can be free to the customer. These fees also may change over time.

The shipping deadlines and different rates for each zone, are indicative and provided by transport operators. They usually correspond to the maximum delivery days, and depend on the region within the country. This forecast is only indicative and therefore not binding.

In the case of stock disruption, the customer will be contacted by email about the new expected delivery date and can keep or cancel the order, as mentioned above. Additional information about the predictable new shipping deadlines may be requested by email at info@hefio.com.

Exchanges and Returns

Hefio only accepts returned articles that have manufacturing defects as defined within the warranty (2 years). In this situation the customer can chose between being repaid the total value and the respective shipping costs, or receiving a new substitute product. Hefio only accepts returned items that are still in their original packaging and in perfect condition, with no signs of use.

The deadline for exchanges and returns is 14 days. For this purpose, the complaint should be formalized via email sent to the address info@hefio.com. In the complaint, the customer shall indicate explicitly the reasons for it, always mentioning the order identification number.

In situations where the customers have other reasons to return the product, than the ones that are Hefio’s responsibility (warranty), these returns will only be accepted after receiving the products back in perfect condition and in their original packaging. The customer, then, will be repaid the total value and the respective shipping costs.

Hefio will not accept returned products without notice, as mentioned above, and which do not comply with the conditions of delivery (including products which have undergone any type of use, transformation, damage and/or lack of the original packaging, accessories and supplements) or are out of the exchange deadline date.

For more security we recommend the customer to follow the next steps upon receiving the product:

  • Check the outer packaging does not present ill-treatment or breach signals;
  • Open the packaging products by the designated areas keeping them in good condition for a period of 14 days;
  • Check if the products show no visible defects made while being transported. The customer has the right to require the carrier waits until the product is checked. If all the items are not in perfect condition the customer should not accept the delivery and shall note all claims in the reception report provided by courier.

The customer may withdraw the order, provided that it has not yet been processed by Hefio and that payment has not been made. The order of withdrawal may be formalized by email sent to the address info@hefio.com. The customer should mention the order identification number, under penalty of ineffectiveness of withdrawal.

Client Obligations

The customer is obliged to give Hefio a valid address that allows the delivery during office hours. He should also provide information such as name, address, telephone and email, for processing of the order and shipping.  The reception address can be a different one than the billing address. The provision of incorrect or incomplete information may lead to the refusal of validation of the customer orders.

The customer may not resell any Hefio product, packaging, accessories or supplements.

Hefio has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
